Anvisa authorizes human testing of Brazil-developed malaria vaccine candidate
Brazil’s health regulator has authorized phase 1 human research on Vivaxin, a candidate targeting Plasmodium vivax malaria. The trial will test safety and immune response in 48 adults, not whether the product can yet be sold or used in public vaccination.
